Da oggi è disponibile una nuova sezione del sito del Calzaturificio Di Giuseppe (clicca qui per visitarla).

Si tratta dello spazio dedicato al nostro brand Rhömson, un marchio fondato da Felice Di Giuseppe negli anni cinquanta che per tanto tempo è stato il nostro pane quotidiano, insieme ad altre sue invenzioni.

Felice viveva nelle sue scarpe, e quello che muoveva il suo savoir-faire era il sogno di realizzarle. La sua eredità vive ancora, fortemente, nelle mura del nostro calzaturificio. È ancora possibile vivere il suo sogno semplicemente camminando nello stesso luogo in cui ha vissuto la sua vita fatta esclusivamente di amore per il lavoro e la famiglia. Il suo lascito respira ancora nei cuori dei suoi collaboratori, degli artigiani e non dei semplici operai: delle persone care che lo ricordono con affetto e l'appellativo "il maestro", in napoletano "o' mast".

Quindi, se volete, potete riferirvi al nostro brand chiamandolo Rhomson, come amava fare Felice e la sua famiglia. O, se preferite, potete chiamarlo come specificato nel nuovo logo caratterizzato da una ö: remson. Figlio di un sogno. Il sogno di Felice di creare scarpe, non importa come, quando, dove e perché. Semplicemente scarpe. Da indossare e trattare come degli oggetti che si usano per coprire i piedi. Scarpe e nient'altro. Questo è Rhömson.

La rivalutazione di Rhömson, fortemente voluta da tutti noi dell'azienda, è stata messa in atto da Rhömson Creative Studio, il nostro ufficio creativo che dal 2023 si occupa di supportare i nostri clienti nella realizzazione delle loro scarpe: dalla fase ti prototipazione alla produzione, ed eventualmente, come si evince da questo progetto, sin dalla fase di ideazione e progettazione.

La prima collezione di Rhömson è composta da un derby, un mocassino, uno stivale con cerniera e uno stivale con molla e innanzitutto rappresenta un assaggio di vetrina dei modelli che siamo in grado di realizzare per chiunque voglia collaborare con noi. È, però, anche un modo per affacciarci sul mercato con una proposta "make to order", ovvero un prodotto disponibile su richiesta e realizzato per calzare perfettamente i nostri clienti al dettaglio.

Starting today, a new section of the Calzaturificio Di Giuseppe website is available (click here to visit it).

This space is dedicated to our brand Rhömson, a brand founded by Felice Di Giuseppe in the 1950s, which for many years has been our daily bread, with others of his inventions.

Felice was living inside his shoes, and the only thing that drove his savoir-faire was the dream of just making shoes. His heritage still lives, strongly, in the walls of Calzaturificio Di Giuseppe. You can still live his dream just walking in the same place were he lived his life made only of love for work and his family. His legacy still breathes through the hearts of his collaborators, as they are indeed artisans and not simply workers: they are beloved humans that remember him and refer to him as “The Master”.

So, if you want, you can call it Rhomson, as he and his family like to do. Or, if you prefer, you can call it as the new logo says with its ö: remson. Son of a dream. The Felice’s dream of making shoes, no matter what, when, where and why. Just shoes. To wear them and treat them as objects to cover foots. Shoes and nothing else. That’s the thing. That’s Rhömson. 

The revaluation of Rhömson, strongly desired by all of us at the company, has been carried out by Rhömson Creative Studio, our creative office which, since 2023, has been supporting our clients in the creation of their shoes: from the prototyping phase to production, and, as evident from this project, even from the initial design and planning phase.

The first Rhömson collection consists of a derby, a loafer, a zip-up boot, and an elasticated boot, and primarily represents a small showcase of the models we are capable of producing for anyone who wishes to collaborate with us. However, it is also a way for us to enter the market with a ‘make to order’ proposal, meaning a product available on request and made to perfectly fit our retail customers.
